Having been an established business in the Gainesville, FL region for over 30 years, Sputo and Lammert Engineering, LLC has gained the trust and respect of clients. The firm continues to have success and grow their business year after year by offering engineering services in Florida and surrounding states.
The firm continued to grow through repeat business, word of mouth, and their website. The website however was extremely outdated (as seen below) and in desperate need of a face lift to bring it into a new decade.
Solution
Seeing a huge potential to update the website, the first step was to transfer the web hosting from Yahoo! to Bluehost. This relatively simple task opened up more possibilities for the overall design for the new website by utilizing the WordPress platform. Once the new web host was secured, Katy worked to clean up the the text and copy of the site to better fit the voice and tone of the firm. Additional updates to the copy also included updating the list of services and verifying all state registrations were up to date. This was done in partnership with the firm to ensure accuracy.
Once the new copy was approved, the website was given an updated and cleaner look that was in line with industry and competitor standards. New headshots and company photos were taken by Katy on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville.
